At the beginning, I know I’m about to get what I need, but I can’t help from vibing.

Then 2:10 hits, and I try to contain myself, but when something is really good to my soul, my initial reaction is to laugh.

…But then 3:16 catches me by surprise…

Then it ends, and I realize I’m here for someone who doesn’t even have her own album out yet but is still dragging your fave through the grimiest of bayous by their 1B pony.

All of the above is so damn accurate.

Amber said this song was the hardest for her to record (and this was in an interview post-IWALY).

It had to have been; there’s a lot of improvisation, a lot of counterintuitive prhasing. This song is a BEAST and she killed it and resurrected it. One of my faves from her.
